Although she is not Jewish, she followed traditional Jewish custom and was burning the Yahrzeit Candle

On my way home yesterday afternoon, I called in on Pauline to let her know I was thinking of her and Michael on the first anniversary of his death. She said she was doing better than she had anticipated which was good to know and it was also lovely that although she is not Jewish, she followed traditional Jewish custom and was burning the Yahrzeit Candle( a candle which burns for a full 24 hours in memorial to a loved one). He would have liked that as he  observed Yahrzeit for his deceased relatives.Unfortunately, Lauren (Michael’s daughter) was busy all day and I did not get to see her, but Prue told me that they too, had lit the Yahrzeit candle at midnight on Sunday. I hope that this anniversary will mark a new beginning for Pauline and Lauren.
