Since the early hours of this morning, the media coverage of the Tiger Woods statement(http://web.tigerwoods.com/news/article/200912027740572/news/) has been non- stop.Since his return from the Australian Masters, there had been the odd press article or electronic media report but all that changed last week-end , when it was reported he had crashed his car on the street outside his Florida residence. The media went into a frenzy building up to a climax today, when Tiger Woods released a statement which alluded to marital indiscretions.
Yes, this man is an elite sportsman, with a high public profile and courts the media when it suits his own purposes but what business is it of anyone, except his wife and him, whether or not he has had an affair(s)? What right has anyone to offer an opinion or make a judgment call on his situation and which individual taking the moral high road, is going to cast the first stone? Plenty is my guess! The world is full of hypocrites who moralise about the lives of others when they should be examining their own.
Many thanks for the responses I have received about yesterday’s post. They were gratefully received 🙂
